Points

The most basic of all geometric shapes is the point. A point is a zero-dimensional object, meaning that there are no measurable aspects associated with the point, you cannot measure its length, width, or depth. While points are visually represented as having dimensions, this is because we cannot draw a point without any dimensions and still be able to see it.

Points are identified with a single letter and are primarily used for identification of lines, planes, and angles.
